Mercer recently appointed Alex Wang as Managing Director, Taiwan, to spearhead client management initiatives across Taiwan and specified regional and global accounts. In his new role, Alex will represent Taiwan in the Greater China Market Leadership Team at Mercer.

Alex brings to Mercer more than 20 years of professional experience having served as an aviation engineer, a consultant and a business executive in a number of key markets including the U.S., China and Taiwan. Prior to joining Mercer, Alex served as Executive Vice President at Kuangtai Tai Metal Ind. Co, Ltd responsible for pan-regional sales initiatives across the Americas, Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

“Alex will be a great addition to Mercer’s Greater China leadership team working closely with myself and Jonathan Gove, Mercer’s Hong Kong market leader, to take client management initiatives to the next level. A graduate of National Cheng Kung University, Alex subsequently earned a Master's degree from the University of Maryland and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Tennessee Space Institute.
